4 “Fear not, for you will not be ashamed. Do not be troubled, for you will not be put to shame. You will forget how you were ashamed when you were young. You will not remember the sorrow of being without a husband any more. 5 Your Maker is your husband. His name is the Lord of All. And the One Who saves you is the Holy One of Israel. He is called the God of All the earth. 6 For the Lord has called you like a wife left alone and filled with sorrow, like a wife who married when young and is left,” says your God.

Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame;
For you will forget the shame of your youth,
And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.
5 (B)For your Maker is your husband,
The Lord of hosts is His name;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel;
He is called (C)the God of the whole earth.
6 For the Lord (D)has called you
Like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit,
Like a youthful wife when you were refused,”

You will forget the shame of your youth(D)
and remember no more the reproach(E) of your widowhood.(F)

the Lord Almighty is his name—
the Holy One(I) of Israel is your Redeemer;(J)
he is called the God of all the earth.(K)
6 The Lord will call you back(L)
as if you were a wife deserted(M) and distressed in spirit—
