Isaiah 5:28-30

New International Version

²⁸ Their arrows are sharp,^(A)
    all their bows^(B) are strung;
their horses’ hooves^(C) seem like flint,
    their chariot wheels like a whirlwind.^(D)
29 Their roar is like that of the lion,^(E)
    they roar like young lions;
they growl as they seize^(F) their prey
    and carry it off with no one to rescue.^(G)
30 In that day^(H) they will roar over it
    like the roaring of the sea.^(I)
And if one looks at the land,
    there is only darkness^(J) and distress;^(K)
    even the sun will be darkened^(L) by clouds.
