Isaiah 49:4-6
New American Standard Bible 1995
4 But I said, “I have (A)toiled in vain,
I have spent My strength for nothing and vanity;
Yet surely the justice due to Me is with the Lord,
And My (B)reward with My God.”
5 And now says (C)the Lord, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant,
To bring Jacob back to Him, so that (D)Israel might be gathered to Him
(For I am (E)honored in the sight of the Lord,
And My God is My (F)strength),
6 He says, “It is too [a]small a thing that You should be My Servant
To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the (G)preserved ones of Israel;
I will also make You a (H)light [b]of the nations
So that My salvation may [c]reach to the (I)end of the earth.”
