Isaiah 48:14-16

International Standard Version

¹⁴Let all of them come together and listen:^[a]
Who is there among them that could declare^[b] these things?

“The Lord loves me,^[c]
    and he will accomplish^[d] my purpose^[e] against Babylon;
        his arm^[f] will be against the Chaldeans.
¹⁵I—Yes, I!—have spoken;
    indeed, I’ve called and^[g] I’ve brought him,
        and he will make his path successful.^[h]
¹⁶Draw near to me, and^[i] listen to this:
    ‘From the beginning I haven’t spoken in secret;
at^[j] the time it happened, I was there.’
    And now the Lord God, and his Spirit, has sent me.^[k]
