Isaiah 45:13-15

International Children’s Bible

¹³I will bring Cyrus to do good things.
    And I will make his work easy.
Cyrus will rebuild my city,
    and he will set my people free.
Cyrus has not been paid to do these things.
    The Lord of heaven’s armies says this.”

¹⁴The Lord says,
“The things made in Egypt and Cush
    and the tall people of Seba
will come to you.
    They will become yours.
The Sabeans will walk behind you.
    They will come along in chains.
They will bow down before you.
    They will pray to you, saying,
‘God is with you.
    And there is no other God.’”

¹⁵You are a God that people cannot see.
You are the God and Savior of Israel.

Isaiah 45:13-15

New International Version

¹³I will raise up Cyrus^[a]^(A) in my righteousness:
    I will make all his ways straight.^(B)
He will rebuild my city^(C)
    and set my exiles free,
but not for a price or reward,^(D)
    says the Lord Almighty.”

¹⁴This is what the Lord says:

“The products^(E) of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush,^[b]
    and those tall Sabeans^(F)—
they will come over to you^(G)
    and will be yours;
they will trudge behind you,^(H)
    coming over to you in chains.^(I)
They will bow down before you
    and plead^(J) with you, saying,
‘Surely God is with you,^(K) and there is no other;
    there is no other god.^(L)’”
