Isaiah 42:6-9

6 “I,(A) the Lord, have called You in righteousness,
And will hold Your hand;
I will keep You (B)and give You as a covenant to the people,
As (C)a light to the Gentiles,
7 (D)To open blind eyes,
To (E)bring out prisoners from the prison,
Those who sit in (F)darkness from the prison house.
8 I am the Lord, that is My name;
And My (G)glory I will not give to another,
Nor My praise to carved images.
9 Behold, the former things have come to pass,
And new things I declare;
Before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

And look, you blind, that you may see.

Or deaf as My messenger whom I send?

I will bring your descendants from the east,

And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’
Bring My sons from afar,
And My daughters from the ends of the earth—
7 Everyone who is (D)called by My name,
Whom (E)I have created for My glory;
I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”
8 (F)Bring out the blind people who have eyes,
And the (G)deaf who have ears.
9 Let all the nations be gathered together,
And let the people be assembled.
(H)Who among them can declare this,
And show us former things?
Let them bring out their witnesses, that they may be justified;
Or let them hear and say, “It is truth.”
10 “You(I) are My witnesses,” says the Lord,

That you may know and (K)believe Me,
And understand that I am He.
