Isaiah 35:2-4

²It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the excellency of [Mount] Carmel and [the plain] of Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, the majesty and splendor and excellency of our God.

³Strengthen the weak hands and make firm the feeble and tottering knees.^(A)

⁴Say to those who are of a fearful and hasty heart, Be strong, fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance; with the recompense of God He will come and save you.

²It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God.

³Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

⁴Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.

²it will burst into bloom;
    it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.^(A)
The glory of Lebanon^(B) will be given to it,
    the splendor of Carmel^(C) and Sharon;^(D)
they will see the glory^(E) of the Lord,
    the splendor of our God.^(F)

³Strengthen the feeble hands,
    steady the knees^(G) that give way;
⁴say^(H) to those with fearful hearts,^(I)
    “Be strong, do not fear;^(J)
your God will come,^(K)
    he will come with vengeance;^(L)
with divine retribution
    he will come to save^(M) you.”
