Isaiah 31:5-7

⁵As birds flying, so will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.

⁶Turn ye unto him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted.

⁷For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.

⁵Like ^[a]flying ^(A)birds so the Lord of armies will protect Jerusalem.
He will ^(B)protect and save it;
He will pass over and rescue it.

⁶^(C)Return to Him against whom ^[b]you have been ^(D)profoundly obstinate, you sons of Israel. ⁷For on that day every person will ^(E)reject his silver idols and his gold idols, which your hands have made for you as ^(F)a sin.
