² “Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, ‘^(A)Write all the words which I have spoken to you in a book. ³ For behold, ^(B)days are coming,’ declares Yahweh, ‘when I will ^[a](C)return the ^[b]fortunes of My people ^(D)Israel and Judah.’ Yahweh says, ‘I will also ^(E)cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.’”

² “Take a ^(A)scroll of a book and write on it all the ^(B)words which I have spoken to you concerning ^(C)Israel and concerning Judah and concerning all the ^(D)nations, from the ^(E)day I first spoke to you, from the days of Josiah, even to this day.

⁴ Then Jeremiah called ^(A)Baruch the son of Neriah, and Baruch wrote on a ^[a](B)scroll ^[b]at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of Yahweh which He had spoken to him.

³² Then Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to Baruch the son of Neriah, the scribe, and he ^(A)wrote on it at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire; and many ^[a]similar words were added to them.
