Isaiah 29:18-20
New English Translation
18 At that time[a] the deaf will be able to hear words read from a scroll,
and the eyes of the blind will be able to see through deep darkness.[b]
19 The downtrodden will again rejoice in the Lord;
the poor among humankind will take delight[c] in the Holy One of Israel.[d]
20 For tyrants will disappear,
those who taunt will vanish,
and all those who love to do wrong will be eliminated[e]—

and out of gloom and darkness(C)

the needy(F) will rejoice in the Holy One(G) of Israel.
20 The ruthless(H) will vanish,(I)
the mockers(J) will disappear,
and all who have an eye for evil(K) will be cut down—
