Isaiah 24:8-10

⁸^(A)The mirth of the tambourines is stilled,
    the noise of the jubilant has ceased,
    the mirth of the lyre is stilled.
⁹No more do they drink wine ^(B)with singing;
    strong drink is bitter to those who drink it.
¹⁰^(C)The wasted city is broken down;
    ^(D)every house is shut up so that none can enter.

⁹They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.
