Isaiah 2:19-21

19 Go into caves in the rocks
and holes in the dust
before the terror of the Lord
and the splendor of God’s majesty,
when he arises to terrify the earth.
20 On that day, people will toss
to the rodents[a] and to the bats
their idols of silver and idols of gold,
which they made for themselves to worship.
21 They will hide in fissures of rocks and in crevices of cliffs
before the terror of the Lord
and the splendor of God’s majesty
when he arises to terrify the earth.

19 (A)And people shall enter the caves of the rocks
and the holes of the ground,[a]
from before the terror of the Lord,
and from the splendor of his majesty,
(B)when he rises to terrify the earth.
20 In that day (C)mankind will cast away
their idols of silver and their idols of gold,
which they made for themselves to worship,
to the moles and to the (D)bats,
21 (E)to enter the caverns of the rocks
and the clefts of the cliffs,
from before the terror of the Lord,
and from the splendor of his majesty,
(F)when he rises to terrify the earth.
