10 And [a]the (A)pillars of Egypt will be crushed;
All the hired laborers will be grieved in soul.

11 The officials of [b](B)Zoan are mere fools;
The advice of Pharaoh’s wisest advisers has become [c]stupid.
How can you say to Pharaoh,
“I am a son of the (C)wise, a son of ancient kings”?
12 Well then, where are your wise men?
Please let them tell you,
And let them [d]understand what the Lord of armies
Has (D)planned against Egypt.

    Let them show you and make known
what the Lord Almighty
    has planned(F) against Egypt.
