³² How then will one answer the ^(A)messengers of the nation?
That ^(B)Yahweh has founded Zion,
And ^(C)the afflicted of His people will take refuge in it.”

His ^(A)wrath is poured out like fire,
And the ^(B)rocks are torn down by Him.

⁷ Yahweh is ^(C)good,
A strong defense in the day of distress,

⁸ And it will be in all the land,”
Declares Yahweh,
“That ^(A)two parts in it will be cut off and breathe their last;
But the third will be left in it.
⁹ And I will bring the third part through the ^(B)fire
And refine them as silver is refined
And test them as gold is tested.
^[a]They will ^(C)call on My name,
And I will ^(D)answer them;
I will say, ‘They are ^(E)My people,’
And they will say, ‘Yahweh is my God.’”
