²⁵ to ^(A)break Assyria in My land, and I will trample him on My mountains. Then his ^(B)yoke will be removed from them, and his burden removed from their shoulders.

³⁶ Then the ^(A)angel of the Lord went out and struck 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians; and when the rest got up early in the morning, behold, all of ^[a]the 185,000 were ^[b]dead.

³⁷ So Sennacherib the king of Assyria departed and ^[a]returned home and lived in ^(A)Nineveh.
