Isaiah 14:17-19

17 Is this the man who made the world like a desert and destroyed its cities, who did not let those whom he had put in prison go home?’
18 “All the kings of the nations lie in greatness, each in his own grave. 19 But you have been thrown out of your grave like a hated part of the family. You are clothed with the dead who were killed with a sword, who go down to the stones of the grave, like a dead body crushed under foot.

17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.

and overthrew its cities,
(A)who did not let his prisoners go home?’
18 All the kings of the nations lie in glory,
each in his own tomb;[a]
19 but you are cast out, away from your grave,
like a loathed branch,
(B)clothed with the slain, those pierced by the sword,
who go down to the stones of the pit,
like a dead body trampled underfoot.
