12 Then you will say on that day,
“^(A)I will give thanks to You, Lord;
For although ^(B)You were angry with me,
Your anger is turned away,
And You comfort me.

¹⁰ And ^(A)the redeemed of the Lord will return
And come to Zion with joyful shouting,
And everlasting joy will be on their heads.
They will obtain gladness and joy,
And ^(B)sorrow and sighing will flee away.

³ Indeed, ^(A)the Lord will comfort Zion;
He will comfort all her ^(B)ruins.
And He will make her ^(C)wilderness like ^(D)Eden,
And her desert like the ^(E)garden of the Lord.
^(F)Joy and gladness will be found in her,
Thanksgiving and the sound of a melody.

“^(B)Give thanks to the Lord of armies,
For the Lord is good,
For His mercy is everlasting,”
