²Florecerá^(A) copiosamente
Y se regocijará en gran manera y gritará de júbilo^(B).
La gloria del Líbano^(C) le será dada,
La majestad del Carmelo^(D) y de Sarón.
Ellos verán la gloria del Señor,
La majestad de nuestro Dios^(E).
³Fortalezcan las manos débiles
Y afiancen las rodillas vacilantes^(F).
⁴Digan a los de corazón tímido^(G):
«Esfuércense, no teman,
Pues su Dios viene con venganza^(H);
La retribución^[a]^(I) vendrá de Dios mismo,
Mas Él los salvará^(J)».

²It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God.

³Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

⁴Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.

²it will burst into bloom;
    it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.^(A)
The glory of Lebanon^(B) will be given to it,
    the splendor of Carmel^(C) and Sharon;^(D)
they will see the glory^(E) of the Lord,
    the splendor of our God.^(F)

³Strengthen the feeble hands,
    steady the knees^(G) that give way;
⁴say^(H) to those with fearful hearts,^(I)
    “Be strong, do not fear;^(J)
your God will come,^(K)
    he will come with vengeance;^(L)
with divine retribution
    he will come to save^(M) you.”
