6 Pueblo de Israel, vuelvan a aquel contra quien tanto se rebelaron. 7 Porque ese día ustedes renunciarán a los ídolos de oro y plata que se hicieron con sus manos llenas de pecado.

8 Asiria será derrotada a espada,
    pero no por un ser humano.
Será destruida por espada,
    pero no por seres humanos.
Huirá de la espada,
    pero sus jóvenes serán esclavizados.

New International Version

6 Return,(A) you Israelites, to the One you have so greatly revolted(B) against. 7 For in that day(C) every one of you will reject the idols of silver and gold(D) your sinful hands have made.(E)

8 “Assyria(F) will fall by no human sword;
    a sword, not of mortals, will devour(G) them.
They will flee before the sword
    and their young men will be put to forced labor.(H)
