⁸Copiii^(A) lui Israel au dat leviţilor, prin sorţi, aceste cetăţi şi împrejurimile lor, cum^(B) poruncise lui Moise Domnul. ⁹Au dat din seminţia fiilor lui Iuda şi din seminţia fiilor lui Simeon următoarele cetăţi numite pe nume ¹⁰şi care au fost ale fiilor lui Aaron^(C), dintre familiile chehatiţilor, şi ale fiilor lui Levi, căci ei au ieşit cei dintâi la sorţi.

⁸And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses.

⁹And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name.

¹⁰Which the children of Aaron, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot.

⁸These cities and their pasturelands the people of Israel ^(A)gave by lot to the Levites, ^(B)as the Lord had commanded through Moses.

⁹Out of the tribe of the people of Judah and the tribe of the people of Simeon they gave the following cities mentioned by name, ¹⁰which went to ^(C)the descendants of Aaron, one of the clans of the Kohathites who belonged to the people of Levi; since the lot fell to them first.
