Hosea 6:9-11

New International Version

⁹ As marauders lie in ambush for a victim,^(A)
    so do bands of priests;
they murder^(B) on the road to Shechem,
    carrying out their wicked schemes.^(C)
10 I have seen a horrible^(D) thing in Israel:
    There Ephraim is given to prostitution,
    Israel is defiled.^(E)
