¹⁵Although he flourishes among his brothers,^[a]^(A)
an east wind will come,^(B)
a wind from the Lord rising up from the desert.
His water source will fail,
and his spring will run dry.^(C)
The wind^[b] will plunder the treasury^(D)
of every precious item.

¹⁶Samaria^(E) will bear her guilt^(F)
because she has rebelled against her God.^(G)
They will fall by the sword;^(H)
their children will be dashed to pieces,^(I)
and their pregnant women ripped open.^(J)
