Hosea 13:12-14

¹²Ephraim’s guilt is preserved;
his sin is stored up.^(A)
¹³Labor pains come on him.^(B)
He is not a wise son;^(C)
when the time comes,
he will not be born.^[a]^(D)

¹⁴I will ransom them from the power of Sheol.
I will redeem^[b] them from death.^(E)
Death, where are your barbs?
Sheol, where is your sting?^(F)
Compassion is hidden from my eyes.^(G)
