19 Entonces lo tomaron, lo llevaron al Areópago y le dijeron: «¿Nos puedes explicar qué es esta nueva enseñanza de la que hablas? 20 Porque esto suena extraño en nuestros oídos. Nos gustaría saber qué significa todo esto.» 21 (Y es que a todos los atenienses y extranjeros que allí vivían, no les interesaba nada que no fuera decir o escuchar cosas novedosas.)

19 Entonces lo llevaron al Areópago, y le preguntaron:
—¿Se puede saber qué nueva enseñanza es ésta que tú nos traes? 20 Pues nos hablas de cosas extrañas, y queremos saber qué significan.
21 Y es que todos los atenienses, como también los extranjeros que vivían allí, sólo se ocupaban de oír y comentar las últimas novedades.

19 Then they took him and brought him to a meeting of the Areopagus,(A) where they said to him, “May we know what this new teaching(B) is that you are presenting? 20 You are bringing some strange ideas to our ears, and we would like to know what they mean.” 21 (All the Athenians(C) and the foreigners who lived there spent their time doing nothing but talking about and listening to the latest ideas.)
