5 So also Christ (A)did not glorify Himself so as to become a (B)high priest, but He who (C)said to Him,
“(D)You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You”;
6 just as He says also in another passage,
7 [a]In the days of His flesh, [b](G)He offered up both prayers and supplications with (H)loud crying and tears to the One (I)able to save Him [c]from death, and He [d]was heard because of His (J)piety.
