¹⁴ Therefore, since the children share in ^[a](A)flesh and blood, ^(B)He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that ^(C)through death He might render powerless ^(D)him who had the ^[b]power of death, that is, the devil,

⁷ He, ^[a]in the days of His flesh, ^[b](A)offered up both prayers and supplications with ^(B)loud crying and tears to the One ^(C)able to save Him ^[c]from death, and He ^[d]was heard because of His ^(D)reverence.

²⁴ Who Himself ^[a](A)bore our sins in His body on the ^(B)tree, so that ^(C)having died to ^[b]sin, we might live to righteousness; ^(D)by His ^[c]wounds you were ^(E)healed.
