⁹ By faith he abode in the land of promise, as in a strange country, as one that dwelt in tents with Isaac and Jacob heirs with him of the same promise.

¹³ All these died in ^[a]faith, and received not the ^[b]promises, but saw them afar off, and believed them, and ^[c]received them thankfully, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
