Hebrews 11:37-39
New International Version
37 They were put to death by stoning;[a](A) they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword.(B) They went about in sheepskins and goatskins,(C) destitute, persecuted and mistreated— 38 the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves(D) and in holes in the ground.
39 These were all commended(E) for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised,(F)

37 Ang iba naman ay binato, nilagaring pahati, tinukso at pinatay sa pamamagitan ng tabak. Gumala sila, na ang suot ay balat ng tupa at mga balat ng kambing, na naghihirap, pinag-usig at pinagmalupitan. 38 Ang sanlibutang ito ay hindi nararapat para sa kanila. Sila ay nagpagala-gala sa mga ilang at mga bundok, sa mga kuweba at sa mga lungga ng lupa.
39 Ang lahat ng mga ito, na nagkaroon ng mabuting patotoo sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya, ay hindi nakatanggap sa mga bagay na ipinangako.
