³⁰ By faith ^(A)the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days. ³¹ By faith ^(B)Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she ^(C)had given a friendly welcome to the spies.

¹⁷ And the city and all that is within it shall be ^(A)devoted to the Lord for destruction.^[a] Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall live, because she ^(B)hid the messengers whom we sent.
