27 他憑信心離開埃及，不怕王的憤怒。他堅忍不拔，好像看見了肉眼不能看見的主。 28 他憑信心守逾越節，行灑血的禮，免得那位殺長子的傷害以色列人。
29 以色列人憑信心渡過紅海，如履乾地，埃及人試圖過去，卻被海水淹沒。

27 By faith he left Egypt,(A) not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer(B) of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.(C)
29 By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.(D)
