7 Dios otra vez fija un día: Hoy. Diciendo por medio de[b] David después de mucho tiempo, como se ha dicho antes:
«Si ustedes oyen hoy Su voz,
No endurezcan sus corazones(B)».
8 Porque si Josué[c] les hubiera dado reposo(C), Dios no habría hablado de otro día después de ese.

6 Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, 7 again He designates a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” after such a long time, as it has been said:
(A)“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts.”
8 For if [a]Joshua had (B)given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day.

(B)“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts.”
8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God[a] would not have spoken of another day later on.
