2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run [a]that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the [b]last it shall speak and not lie: though it tarry, wait: for it shall surely come, and shall not stay.
4 Behold, [c]he that lifteth up himself, his mind is not upright in him, but the just shall live by his faith,

- Habakkuk 2:3 Which contained the destruction of the enemy, and the comfort of the Church: which thing though God execute not according to man’s hasty affections, yet the issue of both is certain at his time appointed.
