¹³ You came out^(A) to deliver^(B) your people,
    to save your anointed^(C) one.
You crushed^(D) the leader of the land of wickedness,
    you stripped him from head to foot.

⁶ He will judge the nations,^(A) heaping up the dead^(B)
    and crushing the rulers^(C) of the whole earth.

¹⁵ “Do not touch^(A) my anointed ones;
    do my prophets^(B) no harm.”

²⁶ He sent Moses^(A) his servant,
    and Aaron,^(B) whom he had chosen.^(C)

⁶ Moses^(A) and Aaron^(B) were among his priests,
    Samuel^(C) was among those who called on his name;
they called on the Lord
    and he answered^(D) them.

¹⁹ Once you spoke in a vision,
    to your faithful people you said:
“I have bestowed strength on a warrior;
    I have raised up a young man from among the people.
²⁰ I have found David^(A) my servant;^(B)
    with my sacred oil^(C) I have anointed^(D) him.
²¹ My hand will sustain him;
    surely my arm will strengthen him.^(E)

²⁰ You led your people^(A) like a flock^(B)
    by the hand of Moses and Aaron.^(C)

¹³ It was you who split open the sea^(A) by your power;
    you broke the heads of the monster^(B) in the waters.
¹⁴ It was you who crushed the heads of Leviathan^(C)
    and gave it as food to the creatures of the desert.^(D)

¹⁹ Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior,^(A)
    who daily bears our burdens.^(B)
20 Our God is a God who saves;^(C)
    from the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death.^(D)
21 Surely God will crush the heads^(E) of his enemies,
    the hairy crowns of those who go on in their sins.
²² The Lord says, “I will bring them from Bashan;
    I will bring them from the depths of the sea,^(F)
23 that your feet may wade in the blood of your foes,^(G)
    while the tongues of your dogs^(H) have their share.”
