²⁷ The Jews took it upon themselves, their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as all non-Jews who become Jews, to celebrate these two days^[a] and never do otherwise. These days are a commemoration to be observed generation after generation in every city, land, and region. ²⁸ These days of Purim will be observed for all time, and the events they commemorate will never be forgotten.

²⁹ Queen Esther, Aminadab’s daughter, along with Mordecai the Jew, wrote about all they had done and confirmed the letter about Purim.^[b]
