³⁹ "And if you seek anything further, let your settlement be obtained in the lawful assembly.

⁴⁰ "For indeed we are in danger of being indicted for an intifadah (uprising) today, for there is no justification we can render to excuse this disorder and commotion."

⁴¹ And having said these things, the town clerk dismissed the kahal (assembly).
