30 Apoi Israel i-a zis lui Iosif: „Acum pot să mor, căci am văzut că încă trăieşti.“ 31 Iosif le-a zis fraţilor săi şi familiei tatălui său: „Mă duc la Faraon să-i spun: «Fraţii mei şi familia tatălui meu, care erau în Canaan, au venit la mine. 32 Aceşti oameni sunt păstori, deoarece cresc vite; ei şi-au adus turmele, cirezile şi tot ceea ce au.»

New International Version
30 Israel(A) said to Joseph, “Now I am ready to die, since I have seen for myself that you are still alive.”(B)
31 Then Joseph said to his brothers and to his father’s household, “I will go up and speak to Pharaoh and will say to him, ‘My brothers and my father’s household, who were living in the land of Canaan,(C) have come to me.(D) 32 The men are shepherds;(E) they tend livestock,(F) and they have brought along their flocks and herds and everything they own.’(G)
