8 Dumnezeu a numit bolta „cer“. A fost o seară şi a fost o dimineaţă: ziua a doua.
9 Dumnezeu a zis: „Să se adune la un loc apele care sunt sub cer şi să apară uscatul!“ Şi aşa a şi fost. 10 Dumnezeu a numit uscatul „pământ“, iar apele care au fost adunate la un loc, le-a numit „mări“. Dumnezeu a văzut că acest lucru era bun.

New King James Version
8 And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.
9 Then God said, (A)“Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and (B)let the dry land appear”; and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
