Genesis 7:2-4
Holman Christian Standard Bible
2 You are to take with you seven pairs, a male and its female, of all the clean animals,(A) and two of the animals that are not clean, a male and its female, 3 and seven pairs, male and female, of the birds of the sky—in order to keep offspring alive on the face of the whole earth. 4 Seven days from now I will make it rain on the earth 40 days and 40 nights, and I will wipe off from the face of the earth every living thing I have made.”

2 Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean(A) animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, 3 and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive(B) throughout the earth. 4 Seven days from now I will send rain(C) on the earth(D) for forty days(E) and forty nights,(F) and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.(G)”
