Genesis 7:16-18
New King James Version
16 So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in (A)as God had commanded him; and the Lord shut him in.
17 (B)Now the flood was on the earth forty days. The waters increased and lifted up the ark, and it rose high above the earth. 18 The waters prevailed and greatly increased on the earth, (C)and the ark moved about on the surface of the waters.

17 Then the flood [a]came upon the earth for (A)forty days, and the water increased and lifted up the ark, so that it rose above the earth. 18 The water prevailed and increased greatly upon the earth, and the ark [b]floated on the [c]surface of the water.
