Ang mga Lahi ni Adan(A)
5 Ito ang kasaysayan na isinulat tungkol sa pamilya ni Adan.
Nang likhain ng Dios ang tao, ginawa niya itong kawangis niya. 2 Nilikha niya ang lalaki at babae, at binasbasan niya sila at tinawag na “tao.”
3 Nang 130 taong gulang na si Adan, isinilang ang kanyang anak na kawangis niya. Pinangalanan niya itong Set. 4 Matapos isilang si Set, nabuhay pa si Adan ng 800 taon at nadagdagan pa ang mga anak niya. 5 Namatay siya sa edad na 930.
6 Nang 105 taong gulang na si Set, isinilang ang anak niyang lalaki na si Enosh. 7 Matapos isilang si Enosh, nabuhay pa si Set ng 807 taon at nadagdagan pa ang mga anak niya. 8 Namatay siya sa edad na 912.
9 Nang 90 taong gulang na si Enosh, isinilang ang anak niyang lalaki na si Kenan. 10 Matapos isilang si Kenan, nabuhay pa si Enosh ng 815 taon at nadagdagan pa ang mga anak niya. 11 Namatay siya sa edad na 905.
12 Nang 70 taong gulang na si Kenan, isinilang ang anak niyang lalaki na si Mahalalel. 13 Matapos isilang si Mahalalel, nabuhay pa si Kenan ng 840 taon at nadagdagan pa ang mga anak niya. 14 Namatay siya sa edad na 910.
15 Nang 65 taong gulang na si Mahalalel, isinilang ang anak niyang lalaki na si Jared. 16 Matapos isilang si Jared, nabuhay pa si Mahalalel ng 830 taon at nadagdagan pa ang mga anak niya. 17 Namatay siya sa edad na 895.
18 Nang 162 taong gulang na si Jared, isinilang ang anak niyang lalaki na si Enoc. 19 Matapos isilang si Enoc, nabuhay pa si Jared ng 800 taon at nadagdagan pa ang mga anak niya. 20 Namatay siya sa edad na 962.
21 Nang 65 taong gulang na si Enoc, isinilang ang anak niyang lalaki na si Metusela. 22-24 Matapos isilang si Metusela, nabuhay pa si Enoc ng 300 taon at nadagdagan pa ang mga anak niya. Nang panahong iyon, malapit ang relasyon ni Enoc sa Dios. Nasa 365 taong gulang siya nang siyaʼy nawala, dahil kinuha siya ng Dios.[a]
25 Nang 187 taong gulang na si Metusela, isinilang ang anak niyang lalaki na si Lamec. 26 Matapos isilang si Lamec, nabuhay pa si Metusela ng 782 taon at nadagdagan pa ang mga anak niya. 27 Namatay siya sa edad na 969.
28 Nang 182 taong gulang na si Lamec, isinilang ang isa niyang anak na lalaki. 29 Sinabi niya, “Ang anak kong ito ay makakatulong sa mga kahirapan natin dahil sa pagsumpa ng Panginoon sa lupa, kaya papangalanan ko siyang Noe.”[b] 30 Matapos isilang si Noe, nabuhay pa si Lamec ng 595 taon at nadagdagan pa ang mga anak niya. 31 Namatay siya sa edad na 777.
32 Nang 500 taong gulang na si Noe, isinilang ang mga anak niyang lalaki na sina Shem, Ham, at Jafet.

5 This is the book of the (B)genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in (C)the likeness of God. 2 He created them (D)male and female, and (E)blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created. 3 And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son (F)in his own likeness, after his image, and (G)named him Seth. 4 After he begot Seth, (H)the days of Adam were eight hundred years; (I)and he had sons and daughters. 5 So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; (J)and he died.
6 Seth lived one hundred and five years, and begot (K)Enosh. 7 After he begot Enosh, Seth lived eight hundred and seven years, and had sons and daughters. 8 So all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.
9 Enosh lived ninety years, and begot [a]Cainan. 10 After he begot Cainan, Enosh lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and had sons and daughters. 11 So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.
12 Cainan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalalel. 13 After he begot Mahalalel, Cainan lived eight hundred and forty years, and had sons and daughters. 14 So all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.
15 Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and begot Jared. 16 After he begot Jared, Mahalalel lived eight hundred and thirty years, and had sons and daughters. 17 So all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred and ninety-five years; and he died.
18 Jared lived one hundred and sixty-two years, and begot (L)Enoch. 19 After he begot Enoch, Jared lived eight hundred years, and had sons and daughters. 20 So all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years; and he died.
21 Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah. 22 After he begot Methuselah, Enoch (M)walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. 23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 And (N)Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God (O)took him.
25 Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begot Lamech. 26 After he begot Lamech, Methuselah lived seven hundred and eighty-two years, and had sons and daughters. 27 So all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he died.
28 Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and had a son. 29 And he called his name (P)Noah,[b] saying, “This one will comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground (Q)which the Lord has cursed.” 30 After he begot Noah, Lamech lived five hundred and ninety-five years, and had sons and daughters. 31 So all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years; and he died.
32 And Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah begot (R)Shem, Ham, (S)and Japheth.

2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:
4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
7 And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
8 And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
9 And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:
10 And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
11 And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
12 And Cainan lived seventy years and begat Mahalaleel:
13 And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:
14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
15 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:
16 And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
17 And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
19 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech.
26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed.
30 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
