⁴ After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. ⁵ So Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died [^Cthe long lives in this genealogy indicate God’s blessing; these names are also in Jesus’ genealogy in Luke 3:36–38].

⁶ When Seth was 105 years old, he had a son named Enosh.
