²⁸ When Lamech was 182 years old, he became the father of a son. ²⁹ He named him Noah [Relief], and said, “This child will bring us relief from the work and painful labor of our hands since the Lord has cursed the ground.” ³⁰ After Lamech became the father of Noah, he lived 595 years and had other sons and daughters.
