²⁷ So, all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty-nine years; and he died.

²⁸ Then, Lamech lived a hundred eighty-two years and begat a son,

²⁹ and called his name, Noah, saying, “This same shall comfort us concerning the work and sorrow of our hands as touching the earth, which the LORD has cursed.”
