Genesis 44:30-32
New International Version
30 “So now, if the boy is not with us when I go back to your servant my father,(A) and if my father, whose life is closely bound up with the boy’s life,(B) 31 sees that the boy isn’t there, he will die.(C) Your servants(D) will bring the gray head of our father down to the grave(E) in sorrow. 32 Your servant guaranteed the boy’s safety to my father. I said, ‘If I do not bring him back to you, I will bear the blame before you, my father, all my life!’(F)

30 “Now therefore, when I come to your servant my father, and the lad is not with us, since (A)his life is bound up in the lad’s life, 31 it will happen, when he sees that the lad is not with us, that he will die. So your servants will bring down the gray hair of your servant our father with sorrow to the grave. 32 For your servant became surety for the lad to my father, saying, (B)‘If I do not bring him back to you, then I shall bear the blame before my father forever.’
