²⁷ He asked them how they were. Then he said, “You told me about your elderly father. How is he? Is he still alive?”

²⁸ They answered, “Yes, sir. Our father is alive and well.” Then they knelt, bowing down.

²⁹ As Joseph looked around, he saw his brother Benjamin, his mother’s son. “Is this your youngest brother, the one you told me about?” he asked. “God be gracious to you, my son,” he said.
