²⁴ And he turned away from them and ^(A)wept. Then he returned to them and spoke to them. And he ^(B)took Simeon from them and bound him before their eyes.

^2 (A)Then he ^[a]wept loudly. And the Egyptians heard it, and the household of Pharaoh heard it.

¹⁴ Then he fell on his brother Benjamin’s neck and ^(A)wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck. ¹⁵ He kissed all his brothers and wept on them, and afterward his brothers talked with him.

²⁹ And Joseph harnessed his chariot and went up to Goshen to meet his father Israel; as soon as he appeared ^[a]before him, he fell on his neck and ^(A)wept on his neck a long time.
