Expanded Bible
13 things happened exactly as he ·said they would [L interpreted]: I was given back my old position, and the baker was hanged.”
14 So the king called [L and sent] for Joseph. The guards quickly brought him out of the ·prison [dungeon; L pit], and he shaved, ·put on clean [changed his] clothes, and went before ·the king [L Pharaoh].
15 ·The king [L Pharaoh] said to Joseph, “I have had a dream, but no one can ·explain its meaning to [interpret it for] me. I have heard that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”

13 And things turned out exactly as he interpreted them to us: I was restored to my position, and the other man was impaled.(A)”
14 So Pharaoh sent for Joseph, and he was quickly brought from the dungeon.(B) When he had shaved(C) and changed his clothes,(D) he came before Pharaoh.
15 Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I had a dream, and no one can interpret it.(E) But I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”(F)

15 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.
