Genesis 38:11-13
New International Version
11 Judah then said to his daughter-in-law(A) Tamar,(B) “Live as a widow in your father’s household(C) until my son Shelah(D) grows up.”(E) For he thought, “He may die too, just like his brothers.” So Tamar went to live in her father’s household.
12 After a long time Judah’s wife, the daughter of Shua,(F) died. When Judah had recovered from his grief, he went up to Timnah,(G) to the men who were shearing his sheep,(H) and his friend Hirah the Adullamite(I) went with him.
13 When Tamar(J) was told, “Your father-in-law is on his way to Timnah to shear his sheep,”(K)

12 Now in the process of time the daughter of Shua, Judah’s wife, died; and Judah (C)was comforted, and went up to his sheepshearers at Timnah, he and his friend Hirah the Adullamite. 13 And it was told Tamar, saying, “Look, your father-in-law is going up (D)to Timnah to shear his sheep.”
