⁸ So Esau lived in the mountains of Edom. (Esau is also named Edom.)

⁹ This is the family history of Esau. He is the ancestor of the Edomites, who live in the mountains of Edom.

¹⁰ Esau’s sons were Eliphaz, son of Adah and Esau, and Reuel, son of Basemath and Esau.
