17 And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also. 18 And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Ben-oni: but his father called him Benjamin. 19 And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Beth-lehem.

17 And as she was having great difficulty in childbirth, the midwife(A) said to her, “Don’t despair, for you have another son.”(B) 18 As she breathed her last—for she was dying—she named her son Ben-Oni.[a](C) But his father named him Benjamin.[b](D)
19 So Rachel died and was buried on the way to Ephrath(E) (that is, Bethlehem(F)).
